Our most popular and economical shopping bag is made from non-woven polypropylene fabric. While they are made from plastic, the bags last for years and can be recycled with other soft plastics at the end of their useful life. Laminated polypropylene bags are also popular and these bags tend to hold their shape which makes it easier when loading them at the checkout. Our calico shopping bags make excellent multi-purpose bags for re-use. Lamination on the inside of the bags is recommended as this helps to reduce moisture absorption and makes them easier to wipe clean. Jute bags are also more likely to stand up on their own and hold their shape making a great shopping bag or grocery bag. Simple designs in black and bold colours print beautifully on jute, but intricate designs may not print as well onto the courser and darker material.
